Peer to Peer Lending

Anyone have experience with this? I've been looking into it recently and wondered if anyone had experienced any horror stories.

As I recall most were seeing 6-10% return over a year or so.

Buddy of mine dabbled a little. Diversified his loans but most turned into bad debt, no matter what their rating was.

Already been discussed ad nauseum. google the Lending Club thread.
I used to use them. Never lost a dime OVERALL. Got a decent return. Money was very spread out though to play it safe. Had a few defaults. It's fine to play around but I prefer private lending which is secured by Real Estate now. The peer to peer is UNSECURED. Just depends what you like. I used to like it, not so much now.
