Should I stick with a my measly 1.452 BTC or put it all in Ethereum during this little slip?

Would this be considered too late for a buy?

I would say no. Check out the link to the article I posted a page ago. There is a huge block chain tech conference where ethereum still be the darling of the show. The company guest list looks like Nasdaq..

I think we can see this go to 150 in the next week or two. Especially if the technology gets some high praise from the big businesses

Friend at work has been talking about this at work for a couple of weeks. Finally took the plunge. His buddies bought in at $5 and $13

Looking like alot of selling this am, although small volume this early. Hopefully this reverses. Not sure how likely, but another day like yesterday would be $$$.

Not too bad. I was hoping to get verified kraken so I could buy more this week, but they still haven't processed my info

Never tried Kraken, but as mentioned before, Coinbase takes while to actually receive after placing your order. But they are quick to withdraw from my checking!

If it wasn't for this, I would be much more active in trading ETH. I feel like so much can happen (either way) in that week waiting for it to hit your wallet.

I just signed up for CB and attempted my first purchase of ETH last night. I saw a green check mark indicating I made the purchase. I had ~ $50 showing available in my weekly bank so I purchased a percentage of a BTC.

In my pending transactions it shows the partial BTC purchase but no mention of the ETH. My wallet currently only shows $71 available as if the ETH purchase of ~$2450 is allocated out of my weekly.

Will this ETH purchase just show up spontaneously? Thanks

Yes. The transaction should be showing in your wallet, but your balance will be zero until they randomly decide to issue it to you.

Can someone please explain hard wallets to me? I don't have much eth but I plan to hold it for years and I've read that just keeping it in coinbase probably isn't the best idea. I see that the ledger nano s is one of the best but I'm still not sure how it works. Looks like you just plug it into your usb port on computer but then what? How does it keep things secure?

I looked into my ethereum wallet. It prompts you for a password to generate a wallet. This is your encryption password. Then it generates a file for you, which you save on your computer and a back up (flash drive). Then through that website you can upload a file; the one it generates for you, then it prompts for your password. Once you provide that it opens up the transfer screen and your ethereum "address" 42 character starting with a 0x. I just don't know if you can directly use this compatibly with CB
