The family and I are probably making a move this summer. Anyone have a mortgage recommendation for North Carolina?

Keep me in mind. I have some very close friends that are looking to move in this direction. They already have a purchase agreement on their house in BR.

What part of NC are you looking at? I'm about 15 miles east of Raleigh.

I have no complaints about my mortgage guy; detail oriented, no issues, everything was on the up and up, no bs. Used him for a mortgage and a refi. He's known as the guy you go to for complex mortgages; wasn't an issue for us, but that's kind of his calling card.

Anyway, his name is Don Waters; good guy, Army vet. Check them out, if you like them cool, if not, use someone else.

Loan amount above $424k? Call a big bank. Better rates.
