Brand new to the MT board, so Hello to everyone.

Not a heavy investor, but I took a shot at a cheap stock in a new publicly traded football league called MLFB. I wanted to see if I had any fellow owner's on the board, or get anyone's opinion for the future.

I had extra money sitting in my trading account so I decided to throw it on something cheap with a possibility of growth.

.60? wow Have to wonder if thats just another variety of AFL, XFL, etc. Is this same as usual football rules just in the spring?

Essentially the same as the NFL, with two distinct differences that I saw -- First, a 50yd+ FG is worth 4 points. Second, the overtime rules are different.

They are announcing the 8 cities that will have teams soon. These cities are supposed to be in markets that have neither an MLB or NFL team. For example, Birmingham looks to be a potential site.

Players are only allowed to play for four years. The league claims to be a developmental league with the thought that the only way to get better at football is to continue to play football -- as opposed to continuously working out until hopefully getting added to a team.

I wouldn't mind to see the league take steam (financially speaking, huge LSU FB fan), and maybe H.S. players go to this league as sort of a "minor league" akin to the best H.S. players going in the draft in the MLB.

Either way, I am excited to see some football played in the Spring and Summer!

Had a nice .09 jumpy yesterday. Thinking I may nab some of this in the next few weeks. Saw they had a promo on espn.com last week and want to take a nice little gamble on what they can do.

Heck they had Steven Garcia and Darron Thomas signed up. But ersiously. it'd be pretty sweet to have an offseason change of pace league to see guys try for second chances. Manziel vs Russell for the "Super Bowl"

did you look at the financials at all? you're better off purchasing shares in Michael Brockers. But...I have been saying that NFL teams should go public so shareholders think they have input in how a team is managed it would be the best professional league bar none

I didn't buy too much of it originally, but maybe this bad boy will keep rising!
