are online brokerages closing/freezing margin accounts? anyone dumb enough to go long on margin right now deserves to lose everything, but just curious how the credit crunch is affecting this. it seems if you're going to interfere and ban short-selling, you should do the same w margin buying. not that i agree w either, of course.
