I can't get into my moodle yet- my account hasn't been created. Can anyone who is registered for BADM 700 go into the moodle and tell me if the accesscode, CengageNow, is required for this course? The professor told me to look there.

Big thanks!

Just an FYI, in case anyone didn't know. If you have a business degree you may not have to take the entry courses of BADM, just wanted to make sure you realized it, so you wouldnt waste that time.

Yeah, Mine was in Forestry however I did get a Business minor. They waived BADM 701 but didn't give me a waiver for 700

I'm thinking about doubling up for this next spring semester. I'm about to start MADM 760 with Meeks but I'm thinking about doubling up with either MADM 720 with Mabry or MADM 751 with Meeks. From what I gather MADM 760 is an easier class but does anyone have any insight about these two other MADM courses?

Can you find out on the moodle(?) if the access code for CengageNOW is required for BADM 700 with Wampler? He called me and told me to look at moodle, but I cant get in until the school creates my email address.

They may let you bypass it, but your undergrad GPA has to be over a 3.0. That's what I was told.

MADM 760 is easy but it does require some busy work (group projects and writings). Could you pair it with a class without as much busy work as MADM 720?

I didn't yet take 751 with Meeks but I was told it's almost an identical format as his 760 class without the group assignments. So it should be a fairly easy one to double. I just prefer doubling up the MADMs with a more math centric class.

751 with Meeks and 752 with Knotts are both interesting courses.

Hey all, I have been following this forum for months now and just wanted to say thanks for the info and suggestions you all have put out here, it really help us newbies!

I am also taking BADM 700 with Wampler spring AP2 (psyc undergrad ). The syllabus is posted and is straightforward. Weekly homework 55%, and 4 exams 10% each, 5% for moodle profile and Cengage intro training and you will need the access code. Best of luck!

Thank you thank you! I just spoke to enrollment this morning and they say I won't have access to moodle for three days. I appreciate this- now I can order the book!

Did you all get the email about MADM 720 and ISDS 702 no longer being core courses? ISDS 705 is now a core and the other 2 or electives. So only 7 core courses and 3 electives now for general MBA.

Of course if you are already in the program and have taken MADM 720 and ISDS 702 you still follow the same path as original.

I haven't taken MADM 720 so I'm thrilled to be able to chose an elective in it's place.

Dang! So I'm scheduled to take ISDS 702 and ECON 705 in spring AP2 in 2 weeks, so I need to drop ISDS 702? I've already taken 2 electives, so I need to find a third elective that's easier than ISDS 702. Any suggestions? I don't want to take ISDS 702 if it's not required.

Of course ISDS 705 isn't offered in spring AP2.

I got a call once a week in the beginning. Went on from enrollment and into my first course. After that they stopped completely.

ISDS 702 is required. It's a core course.

From the email received today.
MBA Curriculum Changes:
MADM 720 and ISDS 702 will no longer be required courses. Instead, they will be elective courses. In addition to the change related to these two classes, ISDS 705 will be added to the MBA core. The MBA core will be reduced from eight core courses to seven core courses, and the required number of elective courses will be three.

You can take either 702 or 705 as your core ISDS if you are already in the program and haven't taken any yet.

I'm kind of in the same boat of not wanting to take ISDS 702 if it's not required but I don't know anything about the alternative ISDS 705.

ISDS 705 seems like a more relevant topic but I just want to take whichever one is easier.
