I have decided to buy a 30 years fixed term life insurance. Where can I buy the policy not spending lots of money?

When you get an answer let me know I haven't found a company yet to give me a bottom line answer without doing a medical exam. I have Met-Life coming over to my house on Saturday morning to do a work up on me. I am applying for a 30yr level term with $750k value. I am expecting to pay around $100/month

I got a 2 mil 30 year term for $123 a month. I believe it is with TransAmerica or something like that.

I have a $1 million dollar policy with Lincoln Financial and I pay $60.38 per month.

Coverage is for 20 years.

Check out Zander Insurance on the web. Dave Ramsey pushes them hard.

This...they aren't an actual insurance company, but they are a broker of sorts. They rate and price the insurance companies and get a fee from the company.

all term should be relatively cheap as long as you are in decent health and not old as dirt

term is cheap because the value goes down as the years go by.

look at the curve of decline in value
shop around.
ask these posters who have policies already, what the end value is of their policies.
Transamerica is HQ'd in SF, CA. its legit. They have the pyramid shaped roof on their building. blah blah in their ads about the pyramid.

Because of different ratings, no one will be able to give you an exact amount until you go through underwriting. Since you are looking at substantial difference in premiums between 20 and 30 year term, why not look into a universal life policy. Essentially, it can be a lifetime term policy.

Contact Matrix Direct. All they asked me was for a medical history and I had to get on the scale and they took my pulse and blood pressure. I am 35 and pay about $26 per month for 30 year term and $250K in coverage. I am single, so this is just to pay my house off in case I die. I know the house can be sold and they paid off, but I wanted some just in case. I consider this a good investment for $26 a month.

The Knights of Columbus offer very good life insurance, but you have to be a practicing catholic to join. It's for members only. They have the highest rating a life insurance program can get. At one point there were only 5 total companies that had this rating, and the KC's were one of them.

If you join, then quit, you still keep the life insurance as long as you pay the premium, but in no way would I recommend quitting. Some councils do outstanding service for their community.

Also, some employers offer very good life insurance policies.
