Tried not to look but dang down 22% YTD.
What's everybody's else 401k YTD percentage looking like?
If your retired or getting close you have to be nervous how long this will go.

Why would you even want to look right now?

You shouldn’t be.

The vast majority of your retirement should be used 5+ years out anyway. In a 25-30 year retirement the market will probably drop 20%+ 6-7 times.

+7.59%

I got out of the market in February and the the rest of the account was placed in energy stocks. I’m currently debating whether to get out of the energy stocks as well.

I'm down -28.19%. I have a big chunk in Fidelity Growth Company which has gotten hammered this year. I'm mid 40s though so not stressed about it yet.

17% down

Would be 11% down if it weren't for the SLI that I have in my 401k.

Down 26%, but the soonest I am retiring (outside of a financial windfall) is 16 years.

Hey, not a grammar police kind of poster but cannot pass up the irony of "peak" vs. "peek" here.

No change, but I’ve taken a bath on inflation like everyone else because while I knew I didn’t want to be invested until the market settled post QE era, I have no idea where to put my cash in the interim.

If you don't plan on retiring anytime soon and are still contributing, then the market being down is actually a good thing IMO.
