Have insurance with USAA and have hail damage claim filed. Adjuster coming out Monday, any suggestions on board?

how old was your roof? They may only pay a pro-rated amount

I am pretty sure UsAA is replacement cost only for the roof.

The size and frequency of the hail will determine if the hail was large enough to bruised the shingles. If there is damage expect to add into the pot the deductible to get the roof replaced

Do you really thing this is going to work? I was a former insurance adjuster that traveled around the country to catastrophe's and I can spot the difference between a hammer and hail in a heartbeat.

DO NOT hit your roof with a hammer. Any reputable company sends all of their adjusters through training class to spot the difference....ESPECIALLY USAA.
