Annuities. Where I work, we recommend a Roth IRA as others have mentioned because you'll pay taxes on it as you deposit money into it, but it is tax free upon withdrawal and there is no required monthly distribution when you turn 70 (if you're thinking this far ahead). Also, after 5 years there is no withdrawal penalty.
These can be fixed annuities or variable annuities. Fixed is a little safer because you know exactly what kind of return you're getting. Variable has a higher risk/higher reward than fixed.
Lots of life insurance companies sell these. We use several different companies, but the one I see most often is Jackson National.
