$700 every 3 months on a 03 silverado $500 deductible on everything $50k/$100k limits with nation wide. I am a 25 yo single male with 3 tickets and a fender bender. I will be switching to state farm in 4 months when 2 tickets, the accident, and I turn 26. I will pay $550 every 6 months then.

You have to factor in the dividend check that USAA sends out yearly for being a policy member.

We used to only get back around $130 a year. Still saved a ton dropping them.

$150/mo for 2016 Toyota Tundra

I still think that's too high.

I am with USAA and I am paying $158 a month, $944 every 6 months for two 2016 vehicles (truck and crossover). I have a 200 Comprehensive and 500 Collision Deductible.

I am trying to figure out if I should shop around or not. Is $944 high, normal, or low?

I'm paying over $1100/ 6mo for just one truck. Is everyone with these super low rates old?

check your insurance every year or two. There is no loyalty from insurance companies to the insured.

I had State farm for years- checked prices with 4 or 5 other companies- all were cheaper SF had slowly been ripping me off

Hartford was cheapest. State Farm agent told me to wait two years and come see him and he would be able to beat anyone else!!!

If you live in Louisiana, make sure you have uninsured motorist coverage.

$115/mo for a 2015 truck with full coverage (State Farm)

Have shopped around recently and no one can touch the rates from State Farm. . . Progressive quoted me $230/mo., Allstate was $160, Safeco was $155.

Been with State Farm since I was 16 which is the reason SF's rate is so much lower than the others.

Not sure how some of y'all are getting rates similar to mine but for two vehicles- even with an umbrella policy with life and homeowners, I'd only see a savings of $15/mo.

What happens when you turn 25? Hopefully changing insurance companies.

You move out of the higher costing bracket of 16-24 yr olds. I do need to shop around though. I started at 180/month and it's steadily gone up every time I renew

I have a similar question: is it normal for insurance to go up randomly? We've had no claims, no tickets and ours went up about $20/ month total between two cars. State Farm.
