My bank offered for 9.95/mo for unlimited access to all three reports with alerts the moment anything changes. Is this worth it or should I just buy it once a year?
Thx

I just check mine once a year from all three sources. I have never had any issues. I think paying $10.00 a month for that type of service is a pretty bad idea.

I've never checked mine. Don't care.
When I built my house the Mortgage Co. checked it. Showed it to me. There was one credit card balance of 90 bucks from Northwestern Bank. Don't know what Northwestern Bank is. Wrote them a letter essentially saying "Who the frick are you?"
It was deleted from my report.

That sounds like a lot of money unless you are having problems. I have only checked mine once, and that was when I had to put a fraud alter because of an unauthorized charge. If you're having problems, you might consider this. Otherwise, I would stay away.

If my bank offered me that kind of "deal", I'd switch banks. Seriously. I know it's only $120/yr, but it may be indicative of other more costly ripoffs they'll attempt.

I'll check it on the free site when I think about it which is usually every 2-3 years.
