Homeowner's Insurance recommendation

Well Allstate, bless them, has increased my yearly premium by about 90% in the name of increased coverage, general rate hike, and so called "claim clause" (I had two claims in 2011, that's it).
So I'm shopping around. I would like to bundle auto as well for the discount.
Anybody happy enough with their insurance company to recommend? Any I should stay away from?

I've like USAA, but I've never had a claim.

State Farm has been good to me. Only 1 claim in 30 years. I still find what I pay is a bit high though. I did the shopping around bit and nobody could beat them.

AMICA is rated really high as far as claims and customer service. If you looking for cheapest, imperial is probably the cheapest. Call an insurance agent and they will quote out a bunch of companies. Also get a quote from liberty mutual. Make sure to quote car insurance at the same time.

I shopped and they were way high. I have all my other policies with them as well.
Went with Liberty Mutual

I have tons of discounts with state farm cause my agent hooks me up, I'm 33 and think I still get a discount on car insurance for being on honor roll.

USAA and Amica are considered two of the best companies for homeowner's insurance.

I'm running into problems because I've had 3 claims in the last 5 years, all of which happen to be "acts of God". I talked to Zander and they found ASI who didn't mind these particular claims, but ultimately declined me because I have masonite siding on a portion of the house.

The two lowest every time I check are Imperial Fire and casualty and Liberty Mutual. Haven't had a claim so no experience there.
