Help me find a new bank

Small business owner here. I'm with Campus Federal now and they are charging me $2 a month to send me my 2 page statement in the mail. They will not back off of this fee. I've got very few transactions maybe 12 a month at most. Looking for a new bank or credit union.
I'd like to be able to deposit business checks remotely. Campus Federal has been promising me this for years, but never came to fruition.
Much appreciated.

While I'm not a business owner, I've been with Hancock Whitney for a while now. Lots of branches around, solid mobile app and little to no fees.

Not sure about what all you need for your business, but I'm pretty happy with Sofi remote online banking.
2.5% interest on checking. 3.75% on Savings.
Only issues is deposting cash, but I have a brick and mortar savings account for that.
Whatever you do, I would look at online banks.

So there is no limit on remote check deposits?

This is what it says, I can't seem to find how they determine how much you can deposit. But seems to be based on risk assessment???
Might want to just call them.

Yeah, I've been on the phone for 5 minutes trying to navigate to speak to someone. Not much luck. I think I need something a little more concrete!
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

I just looked, mine is 100,000.00 daily. I didn't do anything special to earn that. So that's probably what they start it at and then go down if you have something that doesn't clear, etc.

Understood, check depositing wasn't high up on my list of importance as long as I could do it, lol

Campus Federal is horrible, but better than Neighbors...
I use Capital One for personal because they are just easy to use. I think I would look at EFCU if I was looking for a new business account. We do some personal stuff with special needs there and they are great.

I am commercial banker for a community bank. I maybe able to help you if you have so few transactions. We have several branches in Baton Rouge and are small business friendly.

I have a secondary account with Pelican State Credit Union. They seem to be popular and have good reviews

For mobile banking, Chase is the best. Capital One is not bad.

DoctorofCredit.com has a list of banks offering cash incentives for business accounts and reviews of each. May be limited options though if you need local branches.

Why don’t you just go paperless?

My parents used Chase, when my dad passed they did everything possible to make it difficult for me to handle his safety deposit box and accounts despite me having all the legal paperwork etc. I transferred all my moms money to local bank that puts a face with a name and I can make a simple call to get things done.
