I was using Fold card to pay off my credit card and mortgage through Paypal Bill Pay but it has stopped working with PayPal Bill Pay.

Has anyone found a card that would give rewards of some type that can be used like this and is working with Paypal Bill Pay?

Doge Card. You get .85% in Dogecoin, which you can either keep or convert to BTC, ETH, etc.. I was getting 1% or higher typically with Fold, so this is obv less. But if I can still get some type of reward for paying my regular bills, I'll take it. Referral link to the card is below. The nice thing is that all of my payees within Paypal still work, so I only had to change the payment type from Fold to Doge Card.

PayPal has a pretty good cash back credit card themselves. 2% on everything and 3% when you PayPal to pay online

He is asking about a debit card that gives you cash back when you pay off your credit card. We crushed it last year with the Fold card, but they shut down the feature.

I've been using Dogecard for 3 weeks or so now. Haven't been declined yet.

That includes mortgage, car payment, and paying off CCs.

I tried dogecard for a $0.1 test payment but it didn’t go through not sure what the reason was but I assumed Paypal blocking it just as Fold card.

Can anyone else give their experiences with Dogecard working with paypal bill pay?

I have been using it for the last 6 weeks. I just paid my Discover card with it this morning.

Obviously they are out there, but why would a company give a rewards debit card? A rewards CC they are incentivising you to use credit (go into debt with them) by giving you rewards. A debit card you are using your own money.

My guess is a rewards debit card charges higher fees to the processor (IE Paypal here) and that's why they can give the rewards to the consumer, but that's why Paypal won't allow it. They probably have a fee limit.

A lot of processors are charged around 0.5% to 1.5% for debit cards and 2.5-3% for CC.

The advantage of Doge (and formally Fold) mixed with PayPal bill pay, is that you are basically double dipping on the rewards. You already get your CC rewards, (1, 2, or even 5% if you do quarterly categories), and then you are getting more rewards for PAYING off your CC bills going through PayPal bill pay via the Doge card.
