With the U.K. Leaving the EU, do you think this could make a major shift for Germany to leave the euro? I don't know enough about it, but the UK and Germany have to be tired of carrying everyone but France on their back.

Germany makes too much money from being part of the Euro. It is in their interest to keep it together

Maybe see banks downsizing in London and moving headquarters to Frankfurt now?

What would be to their advantage to do that?

ETA: I see where several German business leaders have already said the rest of Europe needs to fast track free trade agreements with the UK in anticipation of the UK's Brexit.

I think that line of thinking will prevail once the European bureaucrats get over their pouting and butthurt. Within 6 months this whole "end-of-the-world as we know it hysteria" will be just a big .

No, I bought 3,000 shares of JPM at $59.74 in pre-market trading.

I've got an order in to sell it if it hits $61.50 again this morning. I'll take my $5,200 profit and then take the rest of the day off......

Thought I had read where the financial industry in Englad had stated that and was pretty vocal about them staying in the EU. London was the hub for the world banks of the EU right?

Yes and still is. If there's an industry where country boundaries are meaningless, it's international finance.

Meh, a lot was said pre-election that will turn out to be just another example of political rhetoric.

None of the financial big shots are going to want to move out of London and live in Frankfurt. I've worked in both cities. There are too many Germans living in Frankfurt......

Besides, to be completely crass and point out the obvious, much of the financial industry in London is heavily populated by the Jewish community. Germany has a history of not treating those people very nicely.

Also bought 100 more shares of apple today @93.68. I just don't see it going below there for awhile. Didn't really do any research on that one. Just a spur of the moment type of thing.

I am looking for a spur of the moment type trade - just not seeing anything making me want to pull the trigger yet.

I may play this afternoon after lunch.

You probably missed it during the first 15 minutes of trading this morning.

You might get another chance during the last 15 minutes of trading today but you may end up having to sleep on your trade over the weekend.
