And that T Rowe fund likely has much higher expense ratios.

I put 100% of mine into the sp500 option. There is no reason to pay someone. They won't beat 12% consistently

Mine is easy. 80% in s&p 500 and 20% in total international market index fund. I'm all about the cheap fees

Same. I gamble on stocks a little with my Roth and fun money, but 100% 401k goes to S&P fund

I have a 403b, and I elected to utilize the Personal Choice option(via Schwab) where I direct my investment $ into the funds of my choosing.

I let the investment company handle the account. I have realized I dont have the time or expertise to manage it correctly.

I figure whatever they do is better than dumping it in a target date fund.

In the Vanguard managed account, which started 0 in Feb 2023 with new employer, over the past year I'm tracking at 11% return to date.

No idea if that is good.

Target date retirement funds for Vanguard are at .08% I believe.

Self. I went Index Fund with low expenses and good returns.

VTSAX
VITAX
VFIAX

I should probably consolidate VTSAX and VFIAX into one since they are similar holdings.

That's exactly what I've done. I've adjusted a few times over the years, but for the most part it's low cost index funds that have performed well over the long run. I typically look at a list of them and their 1, 5, 10 and max returns and compare which ones have the lowest expenses and go with those.

$2500 i paid in 1 year.

That probably includes fund expenses, something you would be paying anway.

If you have less than $200k in the account it may be too much. If you have significantly more, it's not bad
