Maybe so? It went up like 12% yesterday. With I got in a 2.33 but didnt. I may pull the trigger soon tho...from what I gather (and I'm a knob) oil is slightly higher in hopes the Saudis will step in soon so exxi bumped up some. But I think today is the release of some data that may effect oil prices and so far seems it might not be great? Again pretty new to reading into all this...

Moody's downgraded yesterday on obvious liquidity issues. I'd wait it out until July/August to see if their banks issue waivers on probable covenant violations and to see how their free cash flow projections do vs. the plan in their latest investor presentation.

Price has been going up nicely the last few days...who thinks it keeps going? I know oil is up some and the whole sector is doing better it seems? Wish I got in a 2.33 when I was looking strongly at it. I know its a gamble but lots to be made if it turns around.

You people are addicts. Even a dead cat twitches.

Are these guys going bankrupt? The profitable shelf drilling this company was built on is coming to a halt.

I sold my position in EXXI on Monday when the stock ran up thinking it would dip back down for another buying opportunity. Now it seems to be taking off. Contemplating on getting back in now or waiting to see if it dips again. Thoughts??

its a gamble...depends on oil prices. They have been going up so exxi has been going up. I think there is some stockpile info being released today??? If its bad they will drop with oil prices....if goo they will go up? Just a total guess. Mad I didnt pull the trigger at 2.33 a cpl weeks ago so im still watching from the sidelines....

I cannot tell you what EXXI will do, but I can tell you I am only 15% down now, up from well over 50% down a couple of weeks ago.

Are they hedged? At what price and for how long?

My exact strategy with EXXI and SGY. I'm won't get back in until both take some hits.

They've got 24,000/d hedged at $85 through 2015 - so about half their production based on first quarter production of 42,000/d. Not great, but could be worse.

I bought a couple hundred shares. I couldn't stand it anymore.
I'm already down 10% in 2 days.

I was so close to being back to even money, I could taste it, then they go off and have a private offering for 1.25 billion.
Any thoughts on this?

Seems like a simple refinancing - don't see how it could be anything but positive in this environment, unless they are having trouble finding buyers for the debt or it's dilutive.
