How does this work with the stock market? When Obama was still in office and the market was doing well, if you were anti Obama people would say the president has nothing to do with the market. As ardent Trump supporters, is it now ok to give the president credit for the raging market? Seems disingenuous to me, to say the least.

Speculation about presidential actions or inactions can cause short term swings, but the macroeconomy has so many factors affecting it that crediting or blaming a single person is an excercise in ignorance.
