Dividends and taxes

About to submit my tax information. I have everything in my Fidelity account set to automatically re-invest. Even though I hadn't taken any profit from the dividends in 2014, do they need to be claimed on the tax form?

You should have a 1099

It is considered income.

Are you talking about a 401(k)? If so, then the dividends are not taxable.

Appreciate it. Fidelty is slacking bc that was never sent to me and/or only a "Preliminary 1099" is posted online
