This thread has been incredibly helpful for an old guy looking into dipping his toe into cryptocurrency; thank you to all who posted.
I downloaded and put some funds in Coinbase (very easy) and I’m going to look at the portfolios in this thread and make some buys.
Two questions:
> Are these being treated like long-term set and forget investments like many 401k elections?
> If a BTC ETF becomes available later this year, what is the right move related to Coinbase purchases?

I think most people see it as short term but there are some of us that see at is long term. Bitcoin has averaged 200% per year for over a decade as an example, so long term we have evidence you'll be rewarded
If/when the sec approves a btc etf it will likely be very bullish

1 download humbl app (humbl pay on App Store)
2 go to invest in digital assets
3 subscribe to buy block 5 and subscribe to humbl financial ($5 a month)
4 have an account with bittrex, Coinbase pro, or Binance.US (I have bittrex and Coinbase pro)
5 choose one of these to buy block 5 with
6 go check your crypto wallet account and you’ll have bought those coins
