Always other opportunities out there. Look at derivatives of this trade. Check out what Golar does. I think they have the potential to be a huge growth story, but I may be late on this one

Supposedly Sempra is also going to submit to FERC for approval as well. I've heard that it won't necessarily be a large facility though. Trunkline is also trying to put in a liquefaction plant in as well. Their site is a little more constricted by location. If all three were to get off the ground and Sasol were to start their proposed GTL plant I can't see how it wouldn't at some point start to drag natural gas prices higher. The numbers I've seen say that the finished Cheniere project could export 3% of US production. That seemed high but wtf do I know.

I would expect it to as well its just a matter of timing. Assuming they get Cheniere done on time its not even operating till 2015 or 2016. Same thing with the ethane crackers, shite takes years to build. Incremental quantity demanded but its so far off and in the meantime incremental quantity supplied keeps increasing. Given the ridiculous levels of storage already, I'm curious to see what happens if it keeps climbing. Could we literally run out of storage and have it go to $0?

I'm involved in construction and realize that it will take years for these projects to come on line. I agree about the storage there was an attempt to add storage in Sulphur in the old domes there and I don't think they ever got
It to work. On another topic these are huge projects for any area but this is an enormous amount of work in SW LA if everything does move forward there won't be a bigger construction boom going on anywhere in the country. I don't know where the skilled workers would come from.

If this is the facility under construction between Sulphur and Hackberry, the prefab housing for the construction workers had a Mexican flag flying over it last time I passed by there a few months ago.

West bro. If you're in the industry surely you're aware of the bajillion NGL fractionators and other misc crap getting built in Mont Belvieu and Port Arthur currently/upcoming.

I'll amend to say SWLA an SETX. I've live here my whole life and I think our jobs first attitude is really going to pay dividends in the next decade. SASOL's project has been rumored to be upwards of 20 billion if they build everything that they are discussing. They have bought up a large portion of land in Westlake somewhere near 1000 acres.
