I new to credit cards and curious when to cash them out. (Obviously, this is with cards that don't have expiring points) Do you say every 1 or 3 years I'll cash out?

I have 100 or so bucks saved on my amazon card and about the same on a citi card.

I've probably got close to 60,000 points right now that I've earned in about 2 months. Everything I earn is hotel/airfare related so it is a little different than purely CC points. My CC points roll-in with the points I earn on airlines and hotel chains into one big bundle.

Every 20,000 Starwood points I earn will be transferred to Delta. Each time I transfer 20k points, I get a 5k point bonus. Thats just one example of how it all plays together.

I've got nothing. Earned $400 in Ruth's Chris gift cards during a home renovation project several years back.
Right now I have $900 in Disney dollars due partly because of paying for medical bills.

The miles and hotel points is the way to go to really get the best rewards though.

My corporate card rewards program blows. It's just 1% for everything.

Knocked $6,500 off of the cost of a new Olds Intrigue with my GM card (ie from $22,500 down to $16,000). This was in 2000, they changed the rules so that you can't save as much any more. It helped that I'm self employed and travel for my work so I spend a good bit on credit cards in a year.

We still have the car, 149k miles. It's the only new car I'll ever buy.

I got earned 300,000 Hilton points in 2 years of grad school with the Amex HHonors card.

Their points are great for high dollar/high demand rooms. You can get about a 1 penny per point return if you use them right.

Almost 400k on AMEX. This reminds me. Time to cash some of this in.

65000 pts ($650) on my Chase rewards card. Points don't expire and there's no limit so I'm just going to keep saving. May use it for a down payment on a car in a couple of years.

I have something around 750k points on my Venture Card. Took some out for a plane flight/hotel back in June or else I'd be knocking on a million.

e: scratch that...just checked and I only have 650k. Thought it was higher than that.
