Cash vs Credit/Debit - what do you prefer?

Seems more and more people are using cards instead of cash now. For the past 4-5 years, I have rarely carried cash. I'll get a hundred or two when I deposit checks and whatnot, but when I use it up, I have no real need to go to the ATM and get more cash.
People hassle me about it all the time, but it just seems alot easier to use the card. I do feel bad sometimes when I go to the gas station to get a Powerade and bag of chips with my debit card. I always feel like I'm making the cashier do more work than is necessary.
Thoughts? What do you use?

I never have cash on me. I wish I had a $20 or something every now and then, but I've become strictly card.

Cash is only good for strip clubs.

i think it is usually less work for them. just have to swipe the card and press a button or something like that, instead of having to count out change

I pretty much only use my debit card. They only time I ever use cash is to tip the valet guy or something like that.

Cash is like asking to get robbed. Its safer and easier to use your Debit/Credit card. If you are a big baller, you should only carry $100-200 cash on you at any time for an emergency. Any more than that is risky these days.

straight cash, homey
eta: if you carry and use a credit card daily, then you aren't very smart financially

I would rather be robbed of cash than my Identity. I rarely charge or debit anything. And I know I am one of the very few.

I still have the same $8 in my wallet I came home from TAhoe with a month ago.
