Anyone else hearing this stock may take off in the next month? Had a pharmaceutical sales rep say this company was close to wrapping up stage 2 testing
HC Wainwright set a $22.00 price target on Cara Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:CARA) in a report published on Monday morning. The brokerage currently has a buy rating on the biopharmaceutical company’s stock.

"Wrapping up" clinical Stage testing doesn't really mean anything. If you think of clinical stages as a series of filters ~20% of all therapeutics will be stopped at each point.
Also, for the most part these smaller companies are just looking for their molecule to be bought by big Pharma before commercialization. So the long term is not there.
ETA:this is jist a warning if you are inexperienced in Biotech. If you are comfortable looks like a possible play.
