Can anyone who has this money market give me their experience with the liquidity of this account? How fast can you get the money if needed in an emergency? Transferred money from my Chase account to the Capital One 360 Money Market account to start it but it is showing the money will be in the account 5 days after the transfer date.

In my experience, withdrawals from the account take a day or two. Certainly not five days.

It's been my experience that a transfer from 360 MM to my Cap One checking shows up immediately, though I've never raced down and tried to actually pull the cash from checking that day.

I don't have any experience transferring to another institution.

Perhaps the delay is just for the initial transfer? I believe when I set mine up, it took a little longer, but I have moved funds around a bit since then and they typically only take 1-2 days. I've been very pleased with them and really like having that account integrated with my credit cards on their app. Very user-friendly.

If ts just a transfer from the mma to another cap one account it’s available immediately. You can take that to the bank

I have the 360 MMA and a Cap One checking account. Transfers between those 2 accounts are immediate. If I transfer out of the MMA, I usually have the money available in the 3rd party account within 2 business days. This also depends on the policy of the account you are transferring to.

Another data point, same as above.

Also got a notice today that they increased earning rates on the account, it's up to 1.6% now.
