Yeah they were trying to tax airline pilots, truck drivers, etc for any time they spent working in California regardless of the pilots, drivers, etc HOR.

I think its only possible in MLB because NFL, NHL, and NBA all have salary caps and deferred salary wouldn’t be allowed because it circumvents the salary cap. MLB doesn’t have a salary cap. Not sure about MLS
