Apmex is who I've used in the past. Good experience.
Don't buy high though - they won't run out. No reason to run out and buy after a huge rally this month.
And don't buy "bullion", buy eagles or maples.

Two weeks ago, I could have bought a 100 ounce silver bar for $1450 (50 cents over spot). I wiffed.

Locally?
I'm pretty much a novice on metals, so wouldn't feel comfortable buying some melted block of "silver" at the pawn shop.
But I realize that's also slightly irrational and if you know what your doing it's probably fine.

'BullionByPost, Britain’s biggest online gold dealer, said it has already taken record-day sales of £5,600,000 following fears the world is on the brink of another financial crisis.
London-based ATS Bullion added it had been inundated with orders for the past week.
“We’ve had people queuing round the block,” said Michael Cooper of ATS Bullion.'

Its all relative.....you say prices are high right now but what happens when the price goes to 2k per ounce. I am long gold and have been since the first of the year. We are absolutely headed into a recession if not worse.
