Thoughts?

Have an account with Firstrade now, but you have to call in pink sheet and some penny stock trades.
I'd like to keep it all online.

Thanks.

I cannot assist you with your question, but this looked like a good place for me to point out that risk taking is coming back with a vengeance (with retail investors) right now, at least based on the anecdotal analysis of recent MT threads. The contrarian indicator to end all contrarian indicators.

I think it was Joseph Kennedy who said something like he knew the market was in trouble when the shoe shine boy was giving him stock tips.

Supposedly TDAmeritrade doesn't charge extra for them. TradeKing, which I use and really really like, charges $0.01/share if the share price is under $1, which adds up quick. I keep my money at TK partially because of this...it keeps me out of pinkies. Too easily manipulated, IMO.

The manipulation is what makes them so damn profitable. I agree that it's terrible as most new investors do get burned, but they don't call it the Wild West for nothing and for those who learn the tricks of the trade investing in pennies can be quite lucrative. TA is king in penny land and anyone who ain't using it ain't gonna make it.
