Not only do I want to live past 60, but I want to live all that time while NOT footing the bill for your "lifestyle choices". Get insurance, jackass.
It's my life. I'm not telling how to live yours. Apparently I said something that was sensitive to you to warrant such a reaction.

Now, I know this is not for everybody(can't take this risk if you have kids). But I looked at my parents medical history and they are relatively healthy. I exercise 5x a week, eat well, maybe get sick once every 5 years.
You're one car wreck away from bankruptcy. Younger people have different risk factors but they're not immune from having catastrophic medical bills. Your $5000 cushion wouldn't cover a day in the hospital.

He's either trolling or a special kind of stupid

You do understand that, whether or not you are unlucky enough to require expensive treatment, you are still a factor in determining our premiums, right?
So you ARE impacting my life. Seems fair to me that I can impact yours by telling you that you are an a-hole. Not simply because you are uninsured, but because you choose to be.

At first I thought he was a dumbass, but upon further review I wouldn't care about dying early or bankruptcy if I were forever alone, no kids, and worked some dead end cash paying job (see "on paper" income comment).

It's people like you that complain about Obamacare, but are the reason we have it. You talk big now, but next year when you get Crohn's disease, you'll complain about the shots being $2500/month, and want someone else to pay for it. Good luck being a dumbass.

I'm a perfect world when he got sick and couldn't pay the bill they'd let him die but unfortunately it doesn't work that way
