FAR

Thats what I'm taking. I was originally supposed to sit for it at the end of February, but my car died and I had to keep my second job. Since I had already paid for the test, I went after finishing about 30 percent of Yaeger and scored a 50. I'm all in for the end of next month though!

I'd be surprised if I even got a 50. That test blew my mind

I was more shocked at the freaking fingerprint style security at the testing center. I think I'll be fine at the end of May, though I gotta get my studying back up. I'll be honest, I just started a new auditing job and it's hilarious how much it doesn't pertain to FAR.

It will help with aud though especially if you get to see a lot of the audit.

It'll be interesting, I'm a state auditor, so I audit from the "are you paying the correct amount of taxes" side of things.

Youre lucky--atleast you are exposed to some of the concepts in your field of work. I work in a managerial/cost accounting setting. I am 27 years old and the Controller/CFO at my company. It doesnt help that I was half baked my entire time as an undergrad at Bama.

I'll clock off from my computer (I work from home), and I'll look from my Xbox to my tablet to my Xbox to my tablet and see which one wins out.

I do that with beer, beer wins out most of the time.

Haha. I only drink once or twice a week now, because my note taking kinda sucks after a couple of beers.
