ATM machines/products

I have no idea if this is a reliable brand ^ but the ATM machines themselves don't appear to be very expensive.

If you gross $50 a day in fees (20 transactions at $2.50 apiece) minus 25% to the host, that's $13,500/year. I'm sure we're missing something. What's the downside? I'm sure you'd have to carry insurance on it, so there's another expense.

Doing some cursory research some of these projections seem too good to be true. Check this out.

E-cig machines bringing in ~$43k a year combined for an initial $8k investment? Kind of hard to believe.

Have a friend who owns a vapor shop. Dude makes a killing. There is so much mark up. Recently he found a company he gets his from in bulk and now packages himself in the back of his store.

Just remember, wear gloves when putting in small bottles. He got sick because of all the nicotine being absorbed on his hands his first time.

You have to actually fill it

Then figure your time to fill it (or if you pay an armored truck to do it), maintenance, theft, etc.

Many of these machines are put in not so nice establishments, so apparently they break alot.

If you have alot of machines you're better off hiring an armored truck service to fill them, rather than rolling around with $10's of thousands in cash. You get robbed once and you're fricked.

Only a problem if you don't have the funds to fill it. I look at this as simply the physical location of your cash. You aren't technically distributing your own money because when a user inserts their debit card, they're withdrawing cash from their own accounts and their banks are reimbursing the ATM owner.

I'm curious what the fee is to pay a service company like Mobile Money to take care of transport and repairs. I'm guessing it's still a good return. Never done it though, so not sure. Interesting to think about.
