I'm studying to become licensed. I've gotten prelicensed.
Is there a free practice exam I can take online? Any good study guides?
Any tips are appreciated.
TIA

Push Whole life on your family and friends relentlessly.

I don't even know what "prelicensed" is, but Kaplan is pretty cheap.

Yes I sell insurance not sure what pre license means but in Louisiana you have to take the class for i nelive like 40 hrs or do it online and they give a book to study.
Just study the book for a few days and take the exam.
It's a pretty easy exam if you take the time to study your material for a couple of days

I've taken the life and health exam in 2 different states. The first time I read the entire book and took multiple practice exams. Studied for about a week and passed on the first attempt, around 90%.
The second time all I did was take practice exams and then lookup the specific questions I missed. Studied for about 2 days and scored about the same as the first.
Best advice I can give for the exam is take as many practice exams as you can. The real exam questions are identical to the practice exam questions (wording, answers) for about 90% of them.
If are studying for p&c I can't help, I hear it is more difficult.
I found the practice exams using Google.

not sure what pre license means
I took the online course and got the certificate saying I can now register for the state exam. That's what it is. You sure you sell insurance?

Got my license about 3 months ago, last exam I needed to take with Edward Jones though I'm not really focused on selling insurance. Study the Louisiana supplemental, EDJ supplied us Kaplan material the most (35 questions) and you'll pass easily.

What lines will you be selling and for whom?

Yes and I've been licensed for a few yrs now. With that shitty attitude good luck selling, it was a honest question.
I had to take the actual class and said that it could possibly be done online, dickhead

All my employees use ExamFX for prelicensing and have done well. When you sign up for the exam on PSI there is a practice exam they offer too.
Who are you going work for?

Take the prelicensing exam as much as possible and it will show you which areas you are strong in and which areas you are weak in. Also look up what % of questions come from each section and base your studying off of those two pieces of info.

Here is a tip....
Be more specific.
Saying you want to sell insurance is pretty vague. What do you want to sell?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm looking for a new producer myself. Good employees are hard to come by

Just read through the material once and take practice exams over and over and over

Would love to know what agency you with/own...

Jumped over to the farm. Too good of an opportunity to pass. Independent agencies have their perks but ownership is much better. Been at it about a year.

You would rather be an agent at State Farm than own an independent agency?
