Anybody ever have any luck selling a house on craigslist?

Trying to sell my condo in Baton Rouge and was thinking about putting an add on craigslist to see if I get any bites. I have heard of people renting on CL, but was wondering if anyone has ever had much luck actually selling a house on CL. Thanks

I doubt you will get serious offers on Craigslist. I would try zillow and the Facebook resale sites.

I use Craigslist for rentals frequently.
Might as well try it, doesn't hurt.
But use other FSBO sights as well.

I would be worried that someone would see your house for sale on Craigslist and pretend to rent it out. The next thing you know, you'd have people trying to move into your house who were scammed by a Nigerian prince. What I am trying to say is, I do not think that is worth your time to post your house for sale on craigslist.

I bought my house from a craigslist add. Saw it listed, set up a visit the next day, and offered later that day. I'd say it worked out for the seller except we got it for $40-50k under what comparable houses are going for now (6 months later). May have been worth the money for them to get an agent....

FWIW- I also list my office\warehouse space on Craigslist from time to time and do better than on loopnet
You're going to want to get on mls to have the best shot at maximum sales price, you don't need a realtor, just a fsbo with mls.

Where is this condo in BRLA? Asking price? fee's. I always interested in getting something close to campus.
