Yes but just by title, they don't manage teams or anything for at least a year.

I would get in contact with your HR as soon as possible. Typically it's a rotation in the summer, do another busy season, then transfer full time. And typically the interview process for the summer rotation happens the fall before.

Which cities typically have substantial transaction groups - NYC, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, LA?

And without getting too detailed, audit in very large city and push for transactions after 1-2 years would be your recommended course of action?

I see 4 years of B4 experience frequently posted on job descriptions. I would advise a youngen to stick it out until manager. I left st senior and it took me a loooooong time to get a manager title.

ETA: This is my advice for Tax. Idk about Audit.

I think each firm has hubs where their TAS groups sit but those cities would be the most likely.

I would just network from the second you got there with people through out the firm. Whether it be TAS, consulting, whatever. They most likely aren't going to let you move full time until you have 3 years of experience though.

Big Four alums are the most incesteous fratster-like group you will ever find.

Some of it I understand - there are some issues in the largest companies that you probably would only have experience with if you had done Big Four or another large company.

What cracks me up is when the controller of some 45 person company did two years in a Big Four and got out, and then only wants to hire Big Four alum to work for him.

This is also true. Its worth it for a 3 year ride then you need to bounce.
