Find a fee based advisor, make sure he talks about your goals first and not a product. You may want to interview several of them before you settle.

How far along are you? Are you just looking for fund options or are you looking at more wealth management?

The issue is that everyone of the reps I have talked to so far wants to sell me a product.

Who have you met with?

What type of job do you do where you can work until you are 67?

OK, sounds like you aren't looking to move your money anywhere specific so you don't need and investment guy or personal wealth manager.

What you need is a certified financial planner. By law, they cannot be getting commission off of selling specific funds, i think. They should be able to give you the broad range of advice you are looking for.

Are you in Baton Rouge?

Notsince is right...You need someone who has expertise in planning. Look for the CFP designation, but not just from one person. Look for a team of advisors that have expertise in many areas.

Find a fee based advisor.

Kent Smetters is a Wharton Professor who has a list of fee based advisors he recommends. Check it out. He has a show on SXM called Your Money that is amazing.

This is going to sound self serving but as a CFP and few based wealth management advisor I agree with what has been said so far. Being sold products before a full financial plan or synopsis is done is absurd, especially in your situation. You need to talk with someone about everything and go through a full financial plan to see where you are currently vs where you need to be to fullfil your retirement goals. It is time intensive but is worth it in the end.

If you want a fee-only advisor - meaning they can't accept any commissions- try Napfa.org and search for an advisor in your area.

Napfa is a fee only network of advisors.

Most of these guys are going to be CFPs as well.
