13G filing requirement

How would one go about filing a 13G if they were required to do so?

If you need to file one, you need to be talking to an attorney who deals with securities law. And they would help you file it.

If you can afford the purchase that requires the filing of a form 13G/13D then you should be able to afford a securities lawyer?

So I had to look up what this was.
Hypotheitically, if I logged onto Charles Schwab and bought greater than 5% of a company, would they prompt me to do this? Haha

Well they are filed on EDGAR so you can set up an account and file it yourself.
I don’t recommend that. But you can.
