If you JUST got off the phone with him after wiring the money... how do you know you've been scammed already?

Because the "package" was to be here by 930 am. The Fedex tracking number is invalid, and others have the same story I do about the same guy.

why were you so suddenly wise last weekend trying to score MSU tix for the "girls' weekend" to starkville ?? seems like you would save your money for the florida game rather than blow it the weekend before and not take your kid ...

OK .. wait, so you are claiming this guy told you he sent the package via fed ex, and you know it is an invalid number, yet you just got off the phone with him on the western union transfer ... can you try this again and attempt to make sense ?

eta: either your chronology makes no sense or you are the dumbest human alive capable of not walking into walls and wiping their asses, which is it ?

OK, update on the scammer

"Josh Blair" called again trying to sell me his tix in sec 103 for $100 each, but unfortunately he can't do local pick-up... why? Beacuse he's in Miami! So now he suggested Fed-Ex cod, but I need to supply Fed Ex with a receipt of money I transferred to him at my local grocery store.

Long story short: I didn't accept his offer and told him to go !@#$% himself.

my next question is .. weren't these allegedly season tickets ? if they are then can't he just move them to you through the ticket exchange and you could print them ? i am pretty sure the LSU ticket office can transfer tickets via email by killing the barcode on "his" and activating the new one on yours ... i have never done that before, nor have i needed to, but i think you can ...

also, did you ask him about the hot single mom he "scammed" ??

No, I actually failed to inquire about that, lol, but he did mention he had to send out 2 tickets today through Fed-Ex...

And I have no idea about exchanging the tickets via the ticket office. I'm sure this unscurpulous individual would not even consider that, but perhaps someone legitimate would.

C'est la vie

In case anyone is interested I spoke to the Josh yesterday.

If you want to get in touch with him about his "tickets" his email address is blairjosh21@yahoo.com

He is very aggressive and demanding on the phone, plus his story is too Hollywood. Told me his dad was a LSU professor and he just got transferred to Miami but could not go to the game because his wife is due with a new son in 2 weeks.

We got as much info from him as possible. The phone number he gave us is a pay phone in Miami.

I just got scammed by this same miami guy. Name is Josh woods also as Josh Blair. I contacted money gram, my bank, my lawyer, and Miami PD. We have two matches on him. I emailed him and have him till the end of the day to return the money via money gram and to call or email me back the confirmation number. To be honest I hope he doesn't return my money today, I've been told that he will serve time and get my money back if he doesnt.

If there really are a few people here getting scammed by the same guy then why don't you all post your email addresses and contact each other so you can work together...

Why would she wire money via Western Union to a perfect stranger in Miami, Fl? There are some questions that I just can't answer, man...

If I remember from my BLAW class, since the origination of the incident was in Baton Rouge, they have jurisdiction.
