Yep. That's what you get for #3.75 million per year. In any other profession you would expect "attention to detail".

My arse would be fired if I showed up with that sorry arse performance.

I'm glad we have a week off. If we were playing bama this week, I wouldn't want to go.

Are you talking about the 4th down play?

Lee had the call. The OL had the call. Lee was trying to get the WR's lined up how they were supposed to. Toliver has hid head up his arse on the sideline. Sheppard doesn't know where to line up.

Are you telling me that, EVERYONE on the field knew the play except the WR's? So them having their head up their ASSES AGAIN is the coaching?

Seems to me everyone else was lined up for the play. Lee hit the panic button when Toliver was just standing on the sideline.

So what does that tell you? The coaches didn't give them the play? The coaches just ignore the WR's on the sideline? Just told them to hang out on the sideline for the play, it'll be alright?

I know exactly what happened on this play. Truth be known it would make you laugh or cry.

Let me tell you one thing to ponder.

When you run an offense that lines up in shotgun as often as ours does, why would you line up behind center on 4th and 6?

We run shotgun from the 2 yard line. What possible advantage did Lee have lining up behind center?

Even when our running game has been effective, we don't line up behind center and use play action. Why in the fricking world would you force him to back pedal with an empty backfield?

Stop trying to defend the defenseless. Just move on to the next thread. You don't have to agree with what every person says, but when you try to defend the staff for its obvious lack of competence, you call into question your own.

Obviously, the players didn't perform as well as they are capable, but they are never put in the best position to win.

some people will blame crowton only, Les deserves no blame at all.

Do you really feel the need to build that strawman? Miles will get the majority of the criticism and rightfully so.

Bingo.

We have 4 recruiting classes worth of WR on our roster. I refuse to believe that on average they are dumber than everyone elses wideouts.

You know what this is? This is 2008 again. Except it's not our DBs looking confused. Go to 2009...new DC and what do you know? same DBs know what the hell they're doing!

Fire Crowton.

Whoever is calling plays likes to overthink and a lot of the times, tries to be "cute".

"cute" might work at byu or la tech, but when you have the athletes lsu has, you don't need to be cute.

This offense is bullshite.

I don't understand the " players didn't execute" argument as a defense for the coaching staff. Of course the players didn't execute! They havnt executed on offense for 3 years now! If your a pro miles guy who blames the players, go back and rewatch the Auburn game. Watch how well their backs and receivers block down field. Watch how well they tackle. Watch the chemistry with their O line as they know exactly how the play will develop. Then watch lsu try to run screen passes and count how many missed blocks we had. Watch Farely blow up T Bob and how no attempt was made to fix it. Watch our horrendous angles to the ball carrier and missed tackles on defense.

Are you goin to tell me that we've just been that unlucky to recruit all the top tier talent that can't learn and is lazy while other teams lucked up and got the players who can learn and hustle? This offensive staff is not getting through to the players at every level they should. There's a teaching/learning gap somewhere that has either been unidentified or ignored by this staff. Our offense hasn't been fundamentally sound in almost 3 years now. It's more than just the players not playing well on gameday. They're completely lost a good portion of the time. All of them. Not just some of them. So either it's the biggest most unlucky coincedence on earth, or there's a reason for it.

The players absolutely sucked this weekend. I don't care if you come back and tell me that "it's the coaches job to get these players ready." It is their job, but at the same time, the players need to be held responsible for their level of play, which was poor.

They sucked at catching the ball. They sucked at throwing. They sucked at tackling. They sucked at blocking.

You coach and you tell your players to go out and do a job. ALOT of those players did NOT do their job this weekend.

It's just easier for alot of you MFers to blame the coaches rather than the players themselves. frick that. The players SUCKED this weekend. ESPECIALLY Terrance "the Rant thinks you're a 1st Rd. pick" Toliver.

This all day. The entire offense, with the exception of the quarterbacks, looked like they didn't even want to be there.

Buck's gotta stop somewhere.

For 4 million bucks, we have a right to expect better than what Leslie is putting out there.
