so that looked like a well coached game to you? We just got out played by better players who don't meldown before 4th and 6s i guess. Les can't hold their hand and make them tackle, or throw good passes or block etc.

Well frick it then. Tell me which "quarter" our O-Line played up to it's "potential" on saturday? If you can tell me that, I'll say your original post made some sense. They got their asses smoked for four quarters, period.

If the players aren't ready to play very well the rest of this season and there is no urgency, we've simply recruited a bunch of losers. Miles gets a pass for their lack of focus last year, this year, and next. His 4 million a year has nothing to do with how our players are prepared for big games and big situations. Grapefruithead is right....what were we thinking?

You tell me what happened on 4th and 6 then. Tell me what you think was said on the sideline. Think they were looking for the cotton candy guy?

Like I said, looks to me EVERYONE was lined up and ready except the WR's that had their head up their arse all game.

Everyone just forgot to mention a play to the WR's?

Tell me what you think happened.

They've been tackling all year except last game. I guess they just forgot how to do it for this one game?

the same way they had that exact same confusion every time Shep lined up at QB last year? Certainly all the players fault and no way for the coaches to correct from one week or year to the next.

And Miles can't hold the babies' hands and tackle for them. Silly baby players. Miles doesn't make $4 mill to hold their hands.

Max, you need to calm down...Les Miles said himself that the coaching staff is working hard to correct mistakes like clock management and such, and don't forget, next year we'll have 2 senior QB's.

You gotta admit, it's not easy getting up for a game with Auburn.

As for the Auburn game, I just don't think the players deserve a free pass.

Me either, throw it to #80

That's the type of answer I expected. Just bring up old issues rather the topic at hand.

You know, Texas had some confusion a couple of years ago with lining up. Whenever that happens again, I'll be sure to start a thread about it and remind everyone about it.

So, again. Everyone lined up for the play except the WR's. Lee was pointing at them to get where they were supposed to be.

Whose fault is it again?

Miles, right. He picked two kids and decided he wasnt going to tell them in the huddle before the play. That's gotta be it.

It's miles fault ultimately either way

You do understand this right?

I understand the argument, sure.

Do I agree with it? No.

The exchange of responsibility happens when the huddle breaks from the sideline.

I would generally agree with this. But for the last 1.5 years we've seen chronic confusion *primarily* at the wide out position. With half a dozen different guys starting there. I don't think this is an isolated incidence. Yeah, they got zero separation, yeah they couldn't catch shite (especially our only senior at wr). But the confusion about when to be on the field, where to line up, when/how to shift and motion is on BG, Crowton and Miles.

So I guess I'm saying there's plenty of blame to go around

I Just think the coaches coach "safe" and that trickles down to the team

Lack of attention of detail.

I'm just apathetic right now

The worst thing about the whole play was we were coming out of a timeout. There is no excuse to have that much of a clusterf_ck after a TO.
