EVERYONE with any sense of trend recognition knows that once Miles selects his man at QB, it will take something beyond obvious to get him to change his mind on the matter.

Some delusional types will ignore this truth, but that is what the term homer was invented to address.

Miles has an ego problem. That's right, He has an ego problem. The only other option is a cognitive mental deficit, and many would not rule that out, and neither will I, but I truly feel it is about him proving everyone wrong when he is challenged on his selection of a QB.

No one in the LSU academic system will force his hand, until it is too late, and then we risk losing more special seasons while he Jordan Jeffersons us all to death.

I stopped watching the game last night at the end of the 3rd quarter. That is the only time that has happened when we were behind in several decades of watching LSU.

Call it what you want, but my health is negatively affected by our hard-headed Coach (EDIT: ok, this came across over-stated, but you get my point that everyone has limits to the frustrations they should expose themselves to in any given moment), and it does not need to be this way. I choose to assign the fault to his false humility - his pride is in the way - and pride goes before the fall.

I hope he one day, and after 10 years of consistency in this trait I do not expect it, proves me wrong.

The next 2 years will be huge underachieving years if he continues to ride a bad horse. The QB position is too important to a team to be able to overcome such a deficit, and AJ is a good young man who is a very, very poor QB.

God help us

And where exactly are these types? I sure haven't seen them.

Well, that's pretty pathetic.

Go to the AD and demand change.

I'm not being a smart arse about it. Get a meeting with whoever you can and get them to realize the situation.

oh, he has accountability.

his record gives him some cushion but, like DiNardo if he doesn't right the ship fans will quit going to the games and he's doomed.

he'd better figure out what the frick is going on and fix it; even if he has to can Cam.

Lifelong passions have notable affects on people. I am very mentally healthy, and I managed the moment by walking away from his insane approach. I'm not jumping off a cliff over this, I am just massively disapointed that he is once again doing this to the millions who follow the Tigers, and that he is immune from accountability. Even CEO's of major corporations have accountability, but there is zero evidence to assert that he has any of any kind. That is sad.

That's called harveyupdykeitis.

You really shouldn't be watching football. You don't know how it should be processed.

Can we just make a thread out of this and sticky it?

I finally realized late last night after the game that this is the part that has me so upset and frustrated. We all know Miles by now and he is going to continue to do things his way hell be damned if he takes everyone down with him.

Basically we have all seen this movie before so we all know how it ends, just different people playing the same characters. Spoiler Alert - "this QB controversy does not end well for LSU"

What's baffling to me about all of this is that I have a feeling that he will find a way to beat A&M. I don't how, but he always seems to win games when the seat starts get a little hot and then that buys him more time.

Maybe your expectations of LSU football are a little too high. Try watching Lady Tigers volleyball; it's a whole lot more relaxing and soothing to the mind.

Not sure how much time a win against A&M buys him. Unless that win comes with a radically different offensive mindset that points towards us taking said radically different offensive mindset with us going forward.

I'm about at wit's end. Something needs to be shaken up in a big way.

first time I've ever agreed with you on basically anything on here (except I already knew this, didn't just figure it out). I just don't get what's up with Les. Hell, even much earlier in the year when Jennings did zilch against Miss State, he put Harris in....now, he won't even do that. Hell, we might have lost to NM State had he not put Harris in (I kid, but who knows).

hell, I even agree with you, and I don't even like you...lol

Honestly though, I really think something is going to come of this. This was the same shite we saw against Bama a few years ago in New Orleans. He just sits on the sidelines, and makes no changes, and keeps doing the same thing that has failed all night, while the defense plays its heart out. I honestly think last night was a very significant night for Les Miles as it pertains to LSU. Either he changes, or he's gone, imo....I just don't think TAF can sit back anymore. People literally are going to start losing interest in the program because of what he puts on the field offensively. It's no fun, and it's maddening to watch when we know we have a lot of talent that we don't utilize. He lost a large part of his remaining supporters last night. I don't think Les is a dumb person, and I honestly believe it's going to sink in with him.....just depends on how stubborn he wants to play it........he is not bigger than the program.

Even if he loses this game, he is here til 2017. When will you guys get it. You dont have to like him, hes here until his contract runs out. Wed have to have back to back losing seasons and it is not going to happen.

I dont get this. Ive been a fan my whole life and spent the majority of my fandom watching this team lose. So now people are going to stop being fans? Were they not fans when we sucked? So now tat we lose a few games they are going to call it quits?

Even if we lose to TAMU he has absolutely zero accountability to anyone at this point. It would take another 2 years of the bullshite we have gone through this year for his seat to even start to turn hot and probably another 2 years after that to even hope he would be fired. He is pretty much untouchable unless he pulls an Edwin Edwards and gets caught in bed "with a dead girl or live boy"

The bar has been raised, for better and for worse.

Whereas with DiNardo, it took a 4-7 and 3-8 season for him to be shown the door, I don't think people will keep hanging on if we come out the gates and throw up 3-4 losses next year. When people stop showing up, it shows on the bottom line and changes are made.

Just my $.02

Many weren't. We've been good for quite a while now.

I won't, but I'm sure plenty are/will if we don't see some drastic changes to our offensive philosophy and SERIOUSLY contend for the West next year.

i still think it will take more than one season or one loss to see that bottom line significantly dropped. He still makes a tiny fraction of what the company he runs brings in. Which also brings a butt load of money to other sports and academics. I just dont see it happening.

I Will tell you I agree. I try not to have this affect my health but it does affect my mood. Luckily, my wife and I had our anniversary this weekend and that helped me focus on a lot of positive family things. I can handle losing. You don't always win but there is an incredulous disease that is starting to overcome this team. The same coach that was able to motivate his team for the Ole Miss game is gone. His stubbornness and vindictiveness when he loses confidence in a player is easy to see. Imagine how this talented group of Freshmen feel about their decision to entrust their college careers to this man.
