This is literally the kind of view point that leaves far too many LSU fans miserable all the damn time...because they sincerely believe we ALWAYS have the MOST talented guys at every position and if they don;t win the NC every season it's a sure sign of a complete breakdown in the program and coaches need to be fired/burned at the stake.

LSU fans have to be the most miserable fan base in the nation and are almost NEVER happy... We've been neck deep in the greatest 15 year stretch in the program's long history, and yet you'd swear we were mired in the fricking Hallman era with the nonstop grousing around this place.

Come on guy. You're complaining about a preseason honorific. I don't even see why they give out preseason awards.

IF Fournette had as many carries as Elliott and we were talking about 150 yards difference instead of 800 and 4 touchdowns instead of 8, then we could have a conversation about who played stiffer competition. But as it is, Elliott had more carries, more yards, more yards per carrier, more touchdowns, and fewer carries per touchdown.
