And? Those doing the drafting could give a shite about past successes. They draft based on potential and "what that particular player offers more so than the others".

This thread was about Zeke being selected 1st Team AA, an award that he very much deserved based on his performance for last year. However, preseason rankings and AA lists, etc. are about the most worthless pieces of fluff to worry about.

And what does Zeke Elliot have to do with LSU? You guys made this into something that means nothing but a pissing contest.

Elliot is good, plays int eh soft Big !0 and puts up monster numbers on a ton of carries.

hard to argue with that.

Yet he averages 1.5 ypc more than LF7

Elliott earned it. Chubb should be in front of LF7 too.

Fournette isn't a once in a generation back. He's no better than Jeremy Hill. frick, the guy is good but he's no Sanders, Walker, or Jackson

I think you're wrong here. I'm not saying LF deserves the AA selection, but he's a better back than Hill. The lack of passing really did hurt his productivity.

Don't care.

LSU will still be running back by committee. If LF7 gets enough momentum early in the season, he can make a Heisman run.

However, I am sure all the RBs on the team will trade the Heisman for a long and healthy (and lucrative) career in the NFL.

Heisman is just not that prestigious anymore.

I hope LSU rides our RBs to the playoffs. They all stay healthy and have great careers at LSU...and great careers in the pros.
