Big props to this guy for waiting his turn early in the season and now is on a roll. He is batting 317 and playing great cf. Will be fun to watch for the next few years!

Tigahs1977 laughed when it was even suggested he might get some PT if Deichmann had to take a week or two off after his face got smashed in to start the season. Good times.

His swing seems to have progressed a lot this year. Kid has good bat speed. He will be in the top three of the line up next season.

He's going to be a draft eligible Sophomore. Not saying he'll leave after next season, but it's a possibility.

He's got a lot of power for a guy with a 165ish pound frame. I can only imagine the home runs he will knock if he continues to get bigger in a S&C program.

He's going to turn 21 within 45 days of the 2018 MLB draft. Him, Hess, and Slaughter. Josh Smith and Will Reese will be just beyond the cutoff.

Age

It's 3 years removed from high school if you go 4-year OR if you reach 21 around the time of the draft. If you go JUCO it's immediate. Like Bryce Harper.

Last night he effortlessly turned his back to the plate, sprinted to the warning track and turned to make a nice grab. I said out loud that this kid can play some defense.

Reminds of Stevenson with the way he makes difficult plays look routine. If he can make diving catches like Stevenson then look out.

Agree. Would be a hell of a lead off hitter.

We've been ridiculously spoiled at CF for years. So many elite defensive plays that would have otherwise likely led to doubles and triples with so many other teams.

Doing what he has done in the 9 hole has been one of the biggest difference makers. Quietly becoming my favorite player.

He'll get bigger and better with age as well. I don't think he will lose any speed either. He's a pure athlete out there, fearless on defense, smart on the bases and at the plate. If he can somehow gain enough weight to implement power into his swing look out.

With the bat speed he generates at 165 pounds I can't wait to see what he'll be able to do when he's 190 pounds.

He could be a Triple Crown threat if he sticks around for his junior year.

What a great luxury it is to hit Watson ninth.

He could well be the best #9 hitter in the nation.
