Wtf are you talking about? Oklahoma's offense was ranked 23rd this year, LSU was 80th. These are facts.

Wholeheartedly agree.

In the case of OU however, this was supposed to be a team to be in contention for the playoffs. They had the offense as you point out, a defense with rising stars like Eric Striker, and returned one of the best kickers in the Big 12 in Hunnicutt.

And yet they managed to lose 5 games in multifaceted ways. Lost games due to the offense coughing up the football, missing extra points, looking hapless on both sides of the ball, and choking up a game in the end.

if LSU fans were OU fans they would've wanted stoops gone after the NC vs LSU.

to answer my own question from before (thanks for all the help everybody) both qb's are soph.

OU was supposed to be a playoff contender and UT has had their share of QB woes. but it's almost like sometimes underclassmen QB's struggle. weird.

Believe UT ended the game with 51 total yards. Not sure how it's broken down between rushing and passing yards.

59 yards. 2 rushing and 57 passing

Lsu fans love to make excuses for other teams but constantly shite on their own. It's an interesting dynamic

Do other schools bowl game performances somehow validate LSU's offense throughout the season?

of course not, but one should realize that other great football powerhouses struggle at QB at times also. mack brown was a QB coach that usually recruiting great QB's but left the cuppard bare at tejas. the fact is that today's Defenses are good; real good. playing QB and playing OL (including blocking by backs and tight ends) takes some experience to achieve success. DC's dial up some very hard to recognize rushing schemes. did you not notice what arky did to us? and how they did it? they would "pull" (lack of correct term) a rusher and delay his rush until our blockers were already engaged. and they mixed it up really well. it takes experience to recognize that in time to save the qb's arse.

if we can get a good to very good OL play next year I think our QB position will be OK. yes,AJ has his limitations but he should be much improved next year.

Frankly, I am tired of justifying mediocrity and waiting on next year....year after year

YEP our Offense is bad, but the pumpers don't seem to mind and until they do nothing will change cause Miles will continue to get a free pass on mediocrity
