The last 3 years against miss st. they beat us in 2014, needed a miracle for miss st to miss a last second field goal to win in 2015, and 2016 almost blew a 23-3 lead in the last few minutes. Since watching lsu football as a kid back in 1994 we always beat the shite out of them even their good teams. Now they don't even fear us and that is pathetic.

I recall them beating (badly) a lot of teams that season.

Definitely not ideal. But a lot weird things happened to allow State back into that game.

They were ranked number one in 2014 until Bama beat them

It's not just State... remember Miles pre 1/9? And Saban teams before that? Remember opening the season against Va Tech, etc... THAT'S LSU Football... dominant, focused... not this garbage. I'm rooting the players and praying to god that the LSU brass do the right thing for the sake of the program and make a great hire that will get us back on track...

They didn't badly beat teams. It was a team with a lot of talent and luck but their opponents hung with them.

Don't know what's so funny. They had a delay of game and it pushed the kick back. Their kicker is deadly accurate and would've made the kick if it were closer.

Stop. There was a lack of urgency by the players and the coaching staff.

Mullen isn't a terrible coach, all sec schools pump money into football now.

Remember when LSU used to always get skull fricked against UF? Well yeah, the tables have turned.

Yeah I remember opening the season against VaTech under Saban... We got throttled.

Now if you're talking about the time we hosted VaTech at home during the 2007 season under Miles, yeah we crushed them.

All that said, I want Miles gone, and it's happening this year, let's just see how the season plays out.

They beat three top 10 teams (at the time) in a row, 2 of which by 15+ points. The other was LSU, who they dominated. They were up by 20+ points in all of those games at one point.

Because you're calling a kicker missing a 50+ yard field goal a "miracle."

Also, it would have been a 47-yard field goal without the delay penalty. Dude's longest kick of last season was 44 yards. To say he "would have made it" is pretty presumptuous.
