No yelling, shouting or screaming, it's mean! Coaches must coach up! Positive coaching only anything else hurts feeling and self-esteems. Where's the bubble wrap for the helmets? Put flags on them especially the QB and call the game what it really has become! The use of your helmet creates black spots in the brains! Football breaks bones! Why must they play sports anyway? Synchronize swimming is a sport! It's just a game. They are just boys. They are just men playing a boys game. Soccer is the real America's game! Boys can dress as girls and play with the girls! Girls are just as good as boys are!

Tell me why are we watching this game again?

Because, in my day, we learned to sacrifice what we wanted for the better of the team. Helmets were used to pay a consequences for coming into or catching a ball in my domain! Not to forget it was used for trying to throw the ball as well and it didn't matter if you had just released it or not. If I was in motion toward you I was able to make you pay a price for it!

If I did my job with everything I had inside me you paid with a broken bone or lost tooth and our team benefited from you not playing in the rest of the game!

When I thought I was doing my best I had a great coach proving me wrong by yelling, screaming and shouting at me!

I was always sore and tired throughout my day during football season!

No one tolerated fumbling, dropping passes or lack of hustle! You had to carry a ball all day and sleep with it if you broke that commandment!

The best coaches hated becuase they knew when one cell in your body wasn't putting out and made you pay a price each and every time! The worst were the ones everyone liked! Guess which one later gained my respect for life?

My high school coaches were like Sergeant Carter to us Gomer Pyles. My college coaches made Sargent Carter look like Gomer Pyle! And that was a good thing!

No one ever took their helmets off during practice or games! It was a sign of weakness!

No player EVER ran out of bounds when they thought they were going to be tackled! NEVER!

No QB ever slid down to the ground to save himself from being tackled or hurt. It didn't matter anyway because he was going to get it worst if he tried that!

I walked with bruises on my arms from practiced and laugh at for trying to wear extra protection on my arms!

As a 136lbs freshman I was expected to go through two future D1 standouts seniors at 236lbs and 244lbs! Twice a day when I didn't I paid a price with my face mask jerked toward the coaches sweating face, angry curled brow and spitting yelling words of encouragement! Not to mentioned that was after he hit my helmet with his college ring on! The worst pain ever!

The last two-a-day practice in my freshman year fall camp I got through and watch those seniors pay hell for it! Afterwards there wasn't a bigger man on campus that year! No one could stop me from being my best, most importantly not even me!

What are we teaching our young men today? Political Correctness is King! Character doesn't mean a thing! Why am I watching this so-called game again? Its so easy to see it's a shell of its former self!

Tony Dungy didn't curse or raise his voice. He changed the culture in Tampa and got Indy over the hump.
