Wonder what Les's record would be if he played a schedule for eleven years comparable to what Cholly Mac faced every year?

We get it. Y'all want him gone. There are plenty of not so great things about Les to scream about. But you people are starting to split hairs about how he freaking won games. That is the shite that makes us look bat shite crazy.

So, let me get this straight...

Miles, like every other FBS coach, gets a few patsies on his schedule annually, and he wins them. Great. His regular season non-conference win streak is unprecedented.

In that time, he has also faced some of the toughest OOC opponents like TCU, VaTech, Wisky, WVU, Oregon, etc. One year, he faced three BCS bowl bound teams from other conferences and beat them all.

Yet, here are our "fans" doing everything they can to degrade his accomplishments.

Would you prefer that he loses some of these games like Saban has done at both LSU and Bama?

I don't get it.

Shhhhhh

The OP worships the coach can afford the best classes annually, whose losses don't count, that gets an easier schedule and mulligans when needed.

He will hate to hear this news.

How about 13-10 against SEC OPPONENTS the last 3 years. Could give crap about OOC wins, they don't matter when is comes to SEC Championships.

10 games isn't the elitist qualification some on this site make it out to be.

In the last 5 years the total number of power five teams with 10+ wins is: 16, 18, 15, 17, and 15. In many of those instances, 2 or 3 teams from one division of the power 5 conferences have 10+ wins.

That is an average of about 25% of the Power 5 teams win 10 games a year. Not very impressive.

the losses to Penn State, Clemson and ND should not have happened.

Yeah, that was a great play by ND to stop Kragthrope short of the end zone on the fake field goal attempt last bowl season.

lot of folks are hollering about Les's "10 win seasons" as if they are unprecedented

It is.

From 2009-2013 only 4 programs won at least 9 games every year and lsu was one of them. 99% of cfb can't win 9 games every year so don't act like 10 wins isn't a good season because it's not based on facts.

I have never seen a fan base more willing to shite on its own programs accomplishments just to diminish the coach.

They added 2 more sec games, Arkansas and UF became permas on LSU schedule.

They didn't add two more non conference games.

Plus to get to the title if you are LSU, you have to play 9 sec games. To win a title at LSU back then, you only had to play 6.

So either way you still have to win atleast 6 sec games to get to 10 wins.

OP you are totally correct. Some just can't handle the truth. These out of conference games are truly cupcakes compared to the past. Most idiots do not understand that concept.

You are rt, va tech, Oregon, UNC, TCU, Syracuse, Wisconsin, wvu.
Straight up cupcakes.

App state beat Michigan, LSU played them.

I know LSU isn't playing ND on the reg, but let's not act like every game is vs eastern Michigan.

You failed to mention ULL, McNeese Western Kentucky. You missed the point of the list totally.

Who gives a crap about what he HAS won, it's about winning lately. Bobby Bowden and Mack Brown won a ton of games too but they got pushed out because they were not producing anymore. It's just the way it is. What have you done for me lately is the standard they are held to.

I'll post it like I did earlier in the thread. 10 wins in this day in age is nothing special.

Facts prove you wrong. Winning 1o games while playing in the hardest division in cfb is special. 99 % of cfb programs can't win 9 games every year.
