Of course that's the goal. But being happy about a great performance like LSU's 2017 baseball team had is not tantamount to settling for second. That would only be the case if we were suggesting not to try to improve.
Guys like you don't understand this because you've spent your life living vicariously rather than striving to achieve. I give you The Man in the Arena
