the author wasn't exactly clear and an Oxford comma wouldn't have helped either...

gawd, here goes the old fart playing staff officer again...

should have read:

a bar co-owned by LSU alumnus (name) and a local football aficionado named Drew Brees.

I got to say this again, 60,800 beers at lets go with 12 oz beers, that means Tiger Fans drank 5700 gallons of beer in one game.
